Over 50 certifications are available from the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE). Choosing the Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) Automobile & Light Truck Certification examinations (A1-A9) as a professional automotive technician might be a significant career boost.

It's common knowledge in the automobile industry that passing one or more of these tests and getting ASE-certified demonstrates your dedication to becoming the best in your field. Each ASE A-Series exam focuses on a different aspect of automotive repair. The tests are all computer-based multiple-choice assessments.
