Description
Official 14ers.com app for Colorado's 14ers (mountains 14,000+ feet of elevation). Includes 14ers.com Online Guidebook information to help you climb Colorado's 14ers. You have access to peak information, route descriptions, route maps, route photos, trailheads, plus real-time user-contributed peak condition reports. Many 14er routes are far away from cell phone service but with this app you'll have information you want when you're off the grid. You can also record tracks and waypoints and export them to GPX or KML formats. Mountaineering in Colorado can be very dangerous and many people have died on the 14ers. Weather, terrain and other hikers can put you in a situation where your knowledge and experience will be vital. Do your homework, bring the right gear and hike with experienced partners so you have a fun, safe hike. Have fun out there! Bill Middlebrook Breckenridge, CO

This app is top-notch, with great support, It’s long been my go-to for research and planning, as well as hours of just reading and exploring routes to add to the wish list, or even sometimes just for the imagination. It truly appears to be a labor of love and dedication to hiking and exploration as opposed to just a business or commercial interest. I wish I could give it more stars. The support it receives is great, there was a major recent update which had a crash glitch (first time I ever remember a problem) and it was *immediately* fixed! Thank you!

Most comprehensive online community for route/trailhead updates prior to a trip - the app allows you to save info/pics for offline use and I rely on this for new peaks because it's easier than a compass and map... though no wise person would ditch those completely for a phone app. Next needs to be an app for the 13ers! I have tried the hiking project app for 13ers and it's lacking.

This app has been so useful to me. The information is well organized and easy to access/use. Especially like being able to save the images for offline use since I haven't had service on the 14ers I've done so far. Thank you Bill!
