Description
“Oink oink” says the little pig! But, that’s not all the pig says… Pigs, whether living wild in nature or being raised on a farm, are social animals. Sows (or female pigs) and their piglets live together in groups, though boars (or male pigs) tend to live more solitary lives. Whether alone or in the company of other swine, pigs use various vocalizations to communicate excitement, pleasure, discomfort and other feelings and conditions. Pigs also respond to other pig’s sounds, much like they’re talking to one another! “Oink oink” may be the classic representation for the sound pigs make, but in reality pigs can make around twenty different types of sounds for different purposes! These sounds include grunts, squeals, screams and even barks. Babies, kids and all curious pig-lovers will delight in these pig sounds. Little ones will even love to imitate the sounds, so you might end up with a little piglet on your hands!
