Description
HARDWARE REQUIRED: N+Chroma color sensor from variableinc.com PLEASE NOTE: This application requires an iPhone 4s (or newer) or an iPad 3 (or newer), or an iPad Mini, and a NODE sensor device with a Chroma module. Please see our website at www.variabletech.com for more information. The Chroma App will let you scan colors using the Chroma – NODE sensor, and displays the color information on the screen. Great for getting color information off of real world objects! Chroma provides numerical color information in: RGB, HEX, L*a*b*, and CMYK formats. The color graphic displayed on iOS device is an approximate representation of the color scanned. Exact color information can only be attained by the numerical color information. Additionally, scanned colors are stored to the user’s collections to be looked up later, or used for comparison in the Compare Color View (where you can scan colors into left and right view to get a numerical comparison of the colors). The Chroma app also enables the user to view color information in both D65 and D50 lighting environments to make using colors in other applications or web design quick and simple. Please note that for this application to run, the user must have a NODE module sensor from Variable Technologies along with a Chroma color sensor module. About NODE: NODE is a patent-pending wireless sensor platform capable of measuring, recording, and transmitting a wide array of sensor data. NODE is a Bluetooth Smart device, using the latest low energy Bluetooth standard to communicate sensor data to Bluetooth Smart Devices such as the Apple iPhone 4s, Apple iPhone 5, Apple iPad3, and Apple iPad Mini.
