The Duke Energy MicroTour application, developed in collaboration with Index AR Solutions, is a great way to learn about the Mt Holly Microgrid at the Duke Energy Emerging Technology Application and Training Center.

This application contains an on-site and off-site mode. The on-site mode is only available at the Mt Holly Microgrid facility and the off-site mode is available to all users.

On-site functionality allows the Mount Holly visitor to explore the microgrid equipment with the following features/content:

· Augmented reality
· Rich 3D content
· Live data feeds from sensors on select equipment
· Photos
· Equipment descriptions
· A progress bar to keep track of how many pieces of equipment you’ve explored

Off-site functionality allows exploration of the microgrid from any remote location in the 3D mode. Key features/content included are:

· Rich 3D content
· Videos with Subject Matter Expert talking about the microgrid
· Live stream of a camera mounted in the microgrid
