I am pretty new to Keto and wanted to try this device to measure especially since the urine sticks were showing that I was almost always in ketosis. Been using the keto mojo device for close to a month and I find this to be very useful. It is very easy to us and know that this is coming from a guy who hates needles. The software app is really good. So far ran into a glitch only once where the app would not refresh the readings taken and I had to manually input. Resolved the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling the app. The only problem I see is with regards to the price of the strips. Love everything else so far and I will revisit this review in another month. Thank you Keto-Mojo and ThomasK ? for the recommendation

I’m super tech-y and all was fine the first week I used it. The second week after changing nothing- all of a sudden it’s buggy- bunch of sync errors. Can’t connect to cloud. Very annoying. Called customer service. Nice person names Michelle assured me I would get help. Told me to email to her attention and head subject “need app support”. Well 6, 7, 8 emails later with tech support....they can’t figure it out. Keep asking me the same questions. Even after I send them screen grabs. Now it’s 4 weeks later. One full month. And they say they need another few weeks to figure it out. Worst app and system EVER. fine if you only care about one day’s readings. But they told me to delete the app and re-install. I’m okay so I’ll lose 6 weeks of Keto and Glucose reading and notes for each reading. What’s worse- I wasted 50 strips. $50. And now have to start from square one. They said they would get back to me in a few weeks but offered $10 for my trouble. I’m in $150 between the u...

I upgraded my Keto-mojo meter last week to GK+. I have been checking so far only my blood glucose because I am not doing Keto now. Not a single time I used the meter, I was able to sync the reading to the app. I was able to do that only 3 times after deleting the app and installing it again. Today even that didn’t work. When syncing the app freezes and doesn’t work no matter how many times I tried. I have excellent Bluetooth connection, so that is not an issue. My iPhone is 10 Max Pro and is running the latest iOS version. One big issue for me is that there is no option for selecting the time of the reading. For instance: before breakfast, after breakfast, before lunch, after lunch and so on. This is very important for people who are watching their blood glucose levels close. You can add a “tag” but the reading doesn’t show it. Overall that app is not working properly and needs to be fixed at least to work with the meter. It’s been very frustrating experience so far for me, and I hop...

While this app is a work in progress I am truly impressed with it. It integrates with iOS beautifully and gives me all the information I need. Their website is helpful and interesting and kept me calm when I was frustrated with my progress. When there was a problem recently they worked through a holiday weekend to get it solved and approved by the App Store. Kudos! My only complaint is that the connection between my device and my iPhone is weird. I don’t know that that’s really a complaint but it doesn’t feel streamlined and modern. The device is very linear. My best advice is read the instructions. This is not something you will intuit. Once you do as your told you’ll do great!

First and foremost, I was looking for a reader that also had some sort of iOS app to support tracking of data. That said, there aren’t that many good options. At first I was disappointed at the low overall Mojo app rating, but after reading the founder’s comments I was more convinced than ever to buy the device. Let me elaborate. The founder “owned” up to the fact that the original app and Dev shop he hired was not successful. More importantly, acknowledging this and sharing a vision for a more robust and useful app was very encouraging and was enough for me to think, “Awesome, the app isn’t there get, but something is being done about it!” Good enough for me. Aside from more charting/graphing, etc, here are some other feature requests: 1) Allow more than one user Eg my wife and I are using the same device, but we have no way of separating the import so our readings get mixed up 2) Ability to delete entries 3) Great to see GKI, Glucose, and Ketone readings, but how about adding...
