If I’m not wrong, the Govt. of India has removed the capping of 15m height for nano drones. Could you please push an update to remove that restriction? It is a severe limitation to drone’s capability. Other than that the app is great.

I don’t understand why everyone rated the app 1 star when the government of India has imposed restrictions on the height. If the company is providing service in any country then it has to adhere by the laws of land, in this case the aviation law. Company won’t be responsible for your stupid flying behavior that’s why the update is according to the new law passed by GOI. Accuse your government if you want it changed and not the app, idiots!

After paying $500+ for this drone AND flying it well above 15m for a couple of months now suddenly the new version of the app restricts the drone to 15m without a warning that this will happen if you upgrade!!?? That is attrocious and ridiculous!! Understood that the laws say that mini drones should not go beyond 15m but same is the case for car speed limits, the max limit in India for a car is 110km/hr but no manufacturer is limiting a car with that?!! Imagine you buying a Lamborghini but you can only drive it to max of 60kmph??!!! If you have to adhere to these restrictions in India then better limit it on the drone and slash the price to 1/5th of what it is. DJI was the leader in drones but by doing this you are making sure that you are loosing your foothold and your customers too. Really really dissappinted and feel cheated by DJI. Still hoping that they atleast give an option to download an older ios version of the app.

We individuals aren’t in position to negotiate so you must step in.

This is a big disappointment not able to use my mini above 15m . Complete waste of $500. I am aware of the new regulations in India but once we bought the product we are responsible for our actions manufacturer should not restrict what we can do with the product. Car manufacturers do not restrict the speed of a car just because there is a speed limit on a road. DJI should understand this by following the law strictly they are going to lose a lot of customers. Mavic mini 2 sales will speak for itself.
